Kyla Bailey BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapy MIRVAP
Kyla's passion for animals began at a young age where she was bought up with dogs, horses and other animals on a small holding. Growing up, Kyla competed with her dogs in showing and has gone on to win multiple championships with Ice, Frost and Snow. It was Kyla's dog Ice which first sparked a passion for utilising veterinary physiotherapy to prevent injuries and keep Ice at her best for competing in events. Kyla has also had the honour of being apart of some the UK's best dressage teams and has competed to an advanced level. Throughout Kyla's studies, Kyla undertook a variety of work experience to include placements at the Animal Health Trust and Rossdales Equine Hospital in Newmarket. Kyla had the privilege of spectating many of the UK's top veterinarians at both practices where she became immersed in the passion for rehabilitative care for equines and canines. Kyla also shows and races her lurchers, Frost and Snow, at top events across the country and is often an official judge for lurchers and sighthounds. It was these experiences that highlighted Kyla's passion for veterinary physiotherapy, not only for rehabilitation but also for maintaining and improving performance and prehabilitative care in animal patients.
